Xi¡¯an, September 10, 2025 ¡ª Under the theme ¡°The Next MINE: Zero-Emission and Intelligent Operation,¡± the 2025 ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Mining Summit successfully concluded in Xi¡¯an, an ancient city of China.
The event brought together more than 300 mining industry experts and strategic partners from around the world. Through high-level dialogues and displays of cutting-edge technologies, participants explored the challenges and opportunities of the sector¡¯s green and intelligent transformation, showcasing the company's innovation strength and win-win commitment as a global leader in equipment manufacturing.
Driving Industry Transformation Through Zero-Emission and Intelligent Innovation
At the summit, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s executives delivered a series of important speeches. In his welcome address, Mr. Qi Jian reviewed the globalization journey of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s mining equipment business. He noted that the Heavy Equipment BU has achieved consecutive breakthroughs in overseas sales in recent years with a compound annual growth rate of 70%, making ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø the largest Chinese exporter in the mining truck segment. ¡°This outstanding achievement is inseparable from the support of our global customers,¡± he said. ¡°ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø will continue to uphold the mission of ¡®Quality Changes the World¡¯ to create even greater value for customers.¡±
Mr. Li Qin delivered a keynote speech outlining ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s ¡°GREAT¡± value framework for mining equipment: Green Pioneer, Reliable, Efficient, Autonomous, Safety. He shared that in 2024, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s mining equipment sales reached USD 3.2 billion with particularly strong growth in electric products. He also highlighted ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s original ¡°Mine + Renewable Energy + Electric Equipment¡± integrated business model, which leverages clean energy micro-grid solutions ¡ª including wind, solar, hydrogen and storage ¡ª to help customers significantly reduce both operating costs and carbon emissions.
A highlight of the summit was the global debut of two new products: the SKT130S hybrid mining truck and the SET150S electric mining truck, unveiled jointly by Mr. Ding Yaojun and Mr. Cao Te. This was followed by a major signing ceremony with 13 key partners from around the world.
Deliveries Highlight Strength, Autonomous Driving Marks Mining Future
The delivery ceremony was a highlight. The company delivered SAT40C articulated trucks to a key partner in the Middle East, demonstrating the competitiveness of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø equipment in high-end markets.
In addition, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø successfully delivered a micro-grid project¡ª another milestone in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s green energy solutions application in African mines, providing solid support for the industry¡¯s low-carbon transition.
The grand finale was a live demonstration of autonomous driving. Following the launch by Mr. Huang Xianhui, Chairman of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Smart Mining, the SKT130Hi line-control mining truck equipped with ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s fully self-developed autonomous driving system simulated the full ¡°Mining¨CHauling¨CDumping¡± process, showcasing core technologies in efficient loading, economical hauling and safe dumping.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø currently has over 230 autonomous vehicles in commercial operation in China, with overall efficiency exceeding 105%, delivering returns far beyond manual operation and painting a clear picture of the future of smart mining.
The summit is not only a platform for technical exchange but also a bridge for deepening friendships with global customers. Beginning on September 7, participants visited ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s Global R&D Center and its smart factory in Kunshan, experiencing first-hand ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø¡¯s advanced manufacturing concepts and digital production capabilities.
